This flip-top desk, by Pennsylvania House from the 1960’s has been given a new look. Painted in the 2021 color “ serenity” by Benjamin Moore with stained wood legs and top. The color is a neutral shade with modern farmhouse appeal. The entire piece has been sealed with poly acrylic for durability.
Each drawer is accented with removable cloth liners as well as the back plate behind the shelves. The hardware has been refinished in flat black with new modern cup handles on the large drawer.
The top compartment has four small drawers to each side and two cabinet doors revealing four shelf compartments. The desk top folds down and rests on extending supports on either side of the desk drawer. Solid wood construction, Pennsylvania House Is synonymous with quality furniture.

This “plain Jane” jewelry armoire from the 1970’s has been completely reimagined with BOHO style.
Painted in a beautiful deep lake blue this bold piece has been accented with blooming florals in pink, yellow, apricot and blue.
Upon closer look you will find shimmering metallic raised Mandella, and glass bead details. Butterflies, French stripes and leopard print continue the eclectic charm. The drawer sides are decoupaged with papers to add more interest.

Found being used as a home for plants, neglected and certainly forgotten we rescued this rare square Bassett table from their 1960’s Artisan line.
The restoration was certainly a challenge and rather than totally cover up its past, scars and all we chose to leave a few of them to mark the passing of time.
The gorgeous walnut has been sanded, stained and sealed. For fun using decade appropriate colors from the 1960’s we added just a splash of color on the one corner which bore the scars of time.
